Kelsey's POV

I woke up and the first thing that came to my mind was, Great I'm going to be the new girl in my new school.

"School's gonna be a pain isn't it Chicho?" I said to my golden retriever.

I got my skinny blue jeans and my rocker t shirt and stepped in the shower.

As I stepped out I slipped on the wet floor.

"Dammit, I forgot to get a towel." I said rubbing my throbbing head.

"You know, Chicho, you have no idea how lucky you are without having any school." I said as I put on my clothes.

Chicho just barked his agreement.

I dried my hair and heated up my straightener.

While I was straightening my hair I burnt my cheek.

"Ahh this isn't my day...and that is so going to leave a mark." I said trying to finish up straightening my hair and ignoring my burn cheek.

Chicho started scratching the door. I opened the door and he started to wander around the house.

"Okay you can do this, Kelsey. Hopefully there will be cute guys" I said trying to look forward to the first day even though I know it will go horrible.

I went downstairs and started toasting a waffle.

As I finished up my waffle I noticed the bus came. "Mom, I'm heading out."

"Okay, Kels, good luck!" My mom said calling from upstairs.

And I need a lot of it. I thought to myself as I headed toward the bus stop.

The bus ride was brutal.

There were so many slutty girls and ugly too muscular jocks.

No rockers? Come on you have got to be kidding me.

The bus stopped in my new school.

As I stepped inside it was actually pretty decent.

Beautiful tiled floors, a huge cafateria, and nice spacey lockers.

I headed toward the office.

"Hi I'm Kelsey Jamison. I'm the new kid here." I said to the lady on the front desk.

"Oh hello there Kelsey! Here's all the information you need and a school map. I hope you like it here at Barrington High [Btw, sound familar?]" She said with a nice smiling face.

I stepped out of the office sighing. I looked down at the paper for my locker number.

"Now where is locker number 233.." I said to myself looking around.

After a good 10-20 minutes of looking I found it. It was a decent location.

I stuffed my backpack in my locker and grabbed my books.

After closing my locker I got a suprise...not the good kind.

"Hey guys look it's the new kid." A guy with an intimidating face and spiky black hair and light blonde highlights said to his gang.

"Hey emo girl. Can I borrow your knife? We're having a slitting party tonight." A buffy guy with blonde hair said.

I just glared at them and tried to gather my books until they got knocked down again.

A guy with dread locks slammed my books down, "Guys, she also tries to burn herself too! Look at her cheek!" he pointed to the burnt mark.

"Goth chick let me make it feel better." Another buff guy with longish brown hair said. At least there's one decent guy out of the gang.

He knelt closer, raised his hand and slapped my face so hard he knocked my down.

My burnt cheek hurt even more now. I wish I could just break down and cry, but I can't..I need to show my strength.

"Catch you later wrist cutter" The leader, I guess, with the black spikey hair said and he motioned the gang to follow him.

Finally, for the third time, I gathered my books.

All of a sudden I saw 2 pair of hands help me pick up my books.

I looked up to see one of the most gorgeous faces ever.

I swear my heart skipped a beat when I saw his chocolate brown eyes.

He gave me all of the books he gathered.

"Hey, I'm Jade. I saw those guys beat you up..they're known as the Devilish Crew I'm really sorry about that" He smiled.

I swear I could feel my body melting.

"H-hi I-I'm umm.." Oh snap wth is my name?! Nice going, Kelsey, great first impression.

"Kelsey?" He laughed.

"Oh um yeahh heh..how did you know my name?" I probably look like a huge idiot right now.

"Labels" He laughed again.

"Oh.." I looked down ashamed.

"Soo uhh...I was wondering if you wanna sit with me and my friends at the lunch table?" He said.

"Sure!" I cannot believe this at all.

"Oh and umm..we don't really have any girls that are friends because all the girls here are uh.."

"Sluts?" I said finishing his sentence.

"Yeah! We barely have any rockers, punk kids, and what not. We need more people like us." He said smiling.

He just said we and us meaning him and I...this is the best first day ever.

Tom's POV

Omfg, Bill is such a bitch. I mean seriously what the hell? He needs to stop lamenting about "great of a singer he is". I thought to myself

"DUDE THERE'S NOTHING ON THIS FUCKING TV! DAMMIT" I started smacking the TV.

"Chill out. Take a chill pill" Georg said staring at my funny.

I just walked away.

I headed to Bill's bathroom and started knocking the door.

"Bill, are you done yet? We're gonna be late for our interview!" I was starting to get pissed.

"Almost."

Bill stepped out of the bathroom looking as perfect as usual.

"What a drama queen" I muttered under my breath.

Bill just glared at me and looked away.

"Where's Gustav?" Bill asked looking around.

"Oh he went downstairs at the lobby to buy like some pastry or something" Georg said without looking away from the TV.

"What are you watching anyway?" Bill said jumping on the bed beside Georg.

"Sports Channel."

"Yuck." Bill stood up and went to make a cup of coffee.

Bill was started pondering through the cabinents.

"Looking for something, Mr. Perfection?" I asked fumbling thru my old text messages.

"You wish you were as beautiful as me" Bill stuck his tounge out like a little kid.

"DUDE. Come on we better get going to the interview." Georg said shutting the TV off.

"Screw this" Bill dumped what supposed to be coffee.

This is the reason why I stay up so late is to chat with my friends on buzznet."

DON'T THINK YOU ARE.

It's all society that makes you think you're fat.

I bet you you're probably like sooo pretty and you don't even know it because you think you're fat.

People just want you to think that only pretty people are skinny.

They're just brainwashing you so you can buy their diet foods and what not.

But you're not fat.

Don't let your weight get to you.

But that doesn't mean you can't excersize (sp?).

You still have to excersize to be healthy.

BOOM.

 

“Arg!” Tom had jumped on me while I was in perfect sleep.

 

“WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?!” I said rubbing my head from the sudden migraine from the early wake-up call.

 

“We have to get ready for an interview!” He said being all joyous.

Tom always loved being on the spotlight.

 

I fumbled threw my drawers and picked out my favorite black tight jeans and my silver shiny gray long-sleeved shirt.

 

“Dude, you should totally dress like me! You have such bad fashion taste.” Tom smiled showing off his horrid baggy clothes.

 

“I refuse to dress up like some kind of pimp or player….or a whore.” I said grabbing a towel.

 

Tom just glared and flopped unto my bed and started watching TV.

 

I turned on the steamy hot water. I really need to convince Tom to buy me a hot tub.

 

I started singing It’s Raining Men in the shower. I remember when I performed at the age of 13 on Star Search.

 

I’m so amazing. I smiled to myself.

 

“Bill, can you please shut up?! It’s getting to the good part” Tom yelled sounding very annoyed.

 

“Don’t blame me if my voice all of sudden gets ugly!”

 

“Don’t worry it won’t since you sing 24/7!”

 

“You’re just jealous because you can’t sing!”

 

And then all I heard was the TV volume raising.
